One of these is Weihenstephaner Original and the other is mine (87 Pima 10 vima 3 c25). Can you guess which is which? Spoiler: I forgot

My most recent helles. Still clearing up. Sorry for the dim light - with better lighting it's about the same color as the Ayinger helles. 77 pima, 20 vima, and 3 c50.

I'll say the bottom pic is WO, more carbonation. How do they compare in taste? I'm liking my Helles with a little higher IBU like WO.

Re: The EPIC German Beer picture Thread!
You may be right, but I can't actually remember which one is which for certain.
Taste-wise, mine was pushing 30 IBUs and has some significant hop additions later in the boil. I also fermented it with WLP029, so it tasted pretty different from WO. When I tried to only focus on the malt, I'd say mine is getting to be in the ballpark for sure but not there yet. I think WO has a stronger Vienna flavor than mine did, and maybe less c25.
WLP029 made a nice beer for sure, but it's just not the same as a true lager strain fermented properly. The malt really pops more in my latest helles which was done with WLP835.
