Colour doesn't look too different from Tech's accidental Märzen ;)

It's a delicious beer. I think a blend of pima, muma, mema and c100 would do nicely to replicate this beer. :tu

Tried a helles with 10% dark Munich (muma25). It's not the right malt at this percentage for helles, but sure is tasty nonetheless. The foam lasts for days. :tu

Maybe a bit too much foam? Did you add "Splitzmalz"?

Had similar results when I threw flaked barley in a batch - looks awesome

A little sample of this years Oktoberfestbier. The one in the glass is the Spatenbräu one. It's a very elegant beer with incredible hop aroma. Looks like Spaten are slowly finding their roots again.

Sadly, this beer doesn't appear to be available in the US
