Not yet! The agitator is dc, not that much torque needed (80l mash)
However, the use is mainly for my stainless steel centrifugal pumps. Self priming but at 2850 rpm it's a bit too hefty.
The idea is to avoid shearing as much as possible. It also helps keeping an check on cavitation.
There are many uses possible. Most motors are the same spec for their power rating, so it's easy to use the same equipment to control many.
Another use that is high on the list is for the mill motor. It needs to be geared but it's nice to just have a little bit more of control for the optimum crush speed nevertheless.

Yum and yum! I like that nice gold color of Augustiner, wish I could find that here. I've had the Hacker this year, very nice. I need to find the Paulaner weisen, I think it's the lighter version.
