It is, I love it there. The train ride out to Aying, walking around the town of Aging, touring the brewery. It's a fantastic place!

I've visited the brewery, stayed in their hotel, and eaten at the restaurant.

It's a gorgeous and quaint little town full of very friendly people. The hotel was very, very nice and the food was exceptional. The schnitzel in the attached picture was one of the best I've ever had, and cost something like 9.80 euros. Their fresh beer on draft was some of the most divine beer I've ever tasted in my life, and was also about 3.50 euro for a half liter  .

Agreed, this place is a must-see. If you've ever been to New Glarus, you can tell it was inspired by Ayinger. We didn't eat there but at a little restaurant in Aying called Kastanienhof. We had young hog with potato & bread dumplings, Cole slaw, and Ayinger beer. It was excellent. I'll post some photos at some point.
