I don't have the recipe for you (maybe try and email the brewery, as I have had great luck with that). But as the holder of quite a few recipes from the brewmasters I have to say that filtering plays a major role in overall flavor of the finished beer. So while you may have a recipe from a brewmaster, if you don't filter for instance, you may have to play and tweak parameters. Water, malt, maltster, etc are all major players. My most recent recipe for bitburger definitely threw me for a loop, it wasn't what I expected.

Perhaps we should look more into filtration of homebrew then.
I've been thinking about hooking up a cartridge filter and passing SMB/AA Deoxy water through it first, then beer, and seeing how that comes out.

He probably won't because he doesn't want to or he gave his word (or signed an NDA) not to share the recipe.
I have already PM'd him and asked on other threads, nothing so far. I am crossing my fingers for a blog post.

I have nice memories of this beer also (albeit from 2006 prior to homebrewing). Had a good soft but long and crisp hoppy bite to it. If you an get the right hop variety, a well brewed Southern Pils (softish water) should get you close.
