Re: System alterations
I am not sure at this point how to give you a positive answer, this is going to be a trial and error testing phase, I could definitely adapt a positive pressure valve system in the future if it's needed.
Thank you for bringing that up, it is something I had not considered. My DO meter measurements should indicate whether I will need to make any adaption later on.

Re: System alterations
My plan is to get some inch and a half PVC pipe and mounted so that its wings over top of the inch-and-a-half hole for adding Hops and acid additions so that during the boil I can vacuum out all the Steam and eliminate DMS issues
I am also fabricating a mash agitator for the mash tun I'm anticipating being able to do 10 revolutions per minute during the rest periods and up to 30 revolutions per minute when I'm stepping up the mash to the next temperature

Re: System alterations
Are these able to provide a vacuum? I doubt it. They seem to ventilate well though. If you are thinking of something along the lines of the Schoko system by KS, then you need to use a different approach.

Re: System alterations
My goal is simply to be able to ventilate during the boil as I believe ventilation will be sufficient enough to eliminate any worries about DMs
