depends on the regulations of the country it's sold. It's a legitimate question to ask the brewery btw.

After a quick google I believe its 22 May 2017

Q is the year. If it would be "A" = 2001, B = 2002 etc. So Q is 2017
142 is the 142nd day of 2017.
