Pilsner malt blend?

Re: Pilsner malt blend?
I've never done this but have been meaning to. Seems like it would be a good way to get a unique malt base.

Re: Pilsner malt blend?
A lot of professional breweries mix their base malt to adapt to seasonal differences or to the requirements of their plant.
It's not unheard of that a base malt is mixed from different providers as well. As long as one stays with barley malt in the 3-3.5 EBC range, mixing the varieties is not unusual.
To make this impact noticeable however, the mash water needs to be impeccable.
