Low O2 System Planning

Postby Big Monk » Wed Jun 29, 2016 12:05 pm

Update:

1.) My Auber EZ-boil mash/boil controller is on back order so I am on the waiting list. First purchased = first shipped. Ordered 2 temperature probes from eBay.

2.) Bought a bulk lot of 1/2" NPT lock nuts and o rings. 10 each.

3.) Purchased some inexpensive 12 qt. kettles. Need to determine my final configuration and order fittings soon.

4.) Got some LocLine. 24" of Recirc flow (Orange) and 10" of regular (Blue). My kettles are just under 10" in diameter so I'll have some extra. This was less expensive than doing piece parts.

Fittings are now on their way with my false bottom and mash bag to follow in short order.

Once the fittings get here I'll start mounting them to the pots and doing the electrical prep for the Auber setup. That will leave just the mill, ferm fridge and some testing equipment.

Walmart.com

Type "LocLine Corcular flow" for the Orange recirc return line and I believe the blue line and Orange NPT adapter is part of a kit.

I'm interested in how this comes together. Capital cost per batch is at high krausen.
