Just a question about power... with a 1/2hp motor, especially geared down to 100-200 rpm, would that not be quite an overkill for a MM2/MM3 sized mill? Seems to me that 1/4hp running at below 200 rpm would be enough to grind road gravel.

Now they will bundle the Lovejoy couplers as well. Definitely overkill, but price is right - but my MM3 destroys raw wheat to flour when I need it to. Also - make sure to install the shaft couplers with a little Locktight.

I guess it is the German way. Just don't get your sleeve caught in the rollers.. It'll make schnitzel outta ya.
