Fermentation chamber temp controller
I've been using the ranco and I'd like to upgrade to something more accurate. This thing set with a hysteresis of 1f will still swing in a 3 degree range. I have internal fan to move the air and it helped some but I'd like to go tighter.
Is there such a controller with logic that can learn and anticipate cooling requirements and shut the compressor before actual set point and then coast to the desired temp? Also program capability would be nice as well.
I get the impression most here have built their own units but I would prefer something ready to go off the shelf.
Thanks in advance.

ITC-310 is a PID temp controller that can be set with 6 temp ranges over 6 set times. So you can easily set up a fermentation schedule to go from 7-8-9-8-7 Celsius over the course of a week.
48 bucks shipped on amazon. I really like it so far .

What I want more then anything else is to smooth out the temperature cycles. I'd like a unit that can learn and anticipate turning off the compressor ahead of the setpoint so that it can coast to that point instead of what the ranco or the suggested ink bird does. My house thermostat does this with two temperature inputs, inside and outside and applies fuzzy logic to keep the temperature steady. I believe I have read of something similar that people are building with raspberry pi for fermenters. Just wanted to know if anyone can suggest an off the shelf one.

Re: Fermentation chamber temp controller
Right now - the BrewPi seems like the best solution to better manage a freezer. I need to finish my BrewPi builds... still cannot get a single RPi to talk to two BrewPi's. Probably going to have to break down and just run two RPi.

Brewpi spark ordered. Hope there isn't too much soldering involved.
