Possibly one of my best helles so far. It's 6/6/1 v7/m15/m25, and the balance is sublime. Lots of wildflowers, honey and bread. Delicious!

Going for a bolder export style. Took the gravity up to 14P and used 2.5% each of muma50 and cara75. The mid-range cara adds a nice mixed nuts flavor, but mostly almonds.

All very muma laden... I'd rather shift the balance more towards the vima and do a bit more work on the base-malt/pima.

what do you class as cara 75? ie what would be the corresponding trade-name of a maltster?

Festbier, 10% Munich, 20% Vienna, 8% Carahell, the rest Pils, 24 IBU.
