Warsteiner

Another fresh example. However, this is out of the realm of beers I enjoy. Those who know me will immediately know why. I get a nice hint of malt and bitterness on the initial sip, but then it turns to earthy and dirty. I just can't get past that, my least favorite German beer so far... But still of course excellently brewed and all that.

I like Warsteiner's Dunkel. Was not a fan of the Pils.

To me, Warsteiner is like a light Radeberger. I had some a few weeks ago (for the first time in like 20 years) and it was delicious! Goes to show how tastes vary.
I love that rich malt, earthy, floral/fresh field flavor combo, with full intensity. My in-laws drink "hefty" Pilsners like Radeberger and call Bavarian beers water.
