I am going to admit something here, this is my first ever tasting of the Kostritzer. Pima, comes though initally, leading to muma, then slight roast. Upon first sip, I thought pima, a little muma, 1% roast, 30ibu. It was a very nice easy drinking beer, again not my style as the roast muddy's my palate. It would not be my first choice, but I would never turn it down either.

Kostrizer is the perfect pizza beer. Last time I had it fresh was in Berlin one night at a pizza parlor.

Yummy beer. I advise against too much caraaroma when trying to brew one. It starts to take on a cherry note and too much dried fruit. Sinamar is your friend

I agree about the caraaroma. I used too much in a Baltic Porter, and it's a raisin bomb.
