While I thought I had gotten to a point where only stainless steel or food grade plastic was ever in contact with my wort (I stopped using my copper IC with a SS one on the way), I realized my cooler-type mash tun has a bronze ball valve (I had thought it to be brass, but research into the product (Fermenter's Favorites) said it was bronze.
In either case, since both bronze and brass are copper-based alloys is anybody aware of their susceptibility to fenton reactions? I am guessing they are both more stable than copper alone, but I suspect they may be a weak spot in my system.
I plan to switch them out with SS, but I ask because I am curious just how big a deal it is (which will determine the prioritization of their replacement).

They contribute to Fenton-like reactions, yes. Hard to quantify the results, but easy to eliminate as a variable.
