Using a Fermwrap to control temperature on a conical fermenter?
I'm going to try this today and post pictures if I get it done.
I can see how I can fit one Fermwrap on by placing the "cut here" area under one of the legs. I'm hoping that with some insulation that will be enough to maintain fermentation temperatue in my 32F-50F garage during the colder months. There are some factors in my favor: a larger fermentation volume (13 g) will produce more heat during fermentation than the volume that will fit in a carboy; the sides of the Fermenator are thinner and the stainless steel is more conductive than glass.

Hey dude,
Did you get this done? This is basically what I am doing now, using a keg for fermentation, insulated and heated with a fermwrap and BrewPi. I am easily able to hit ~48F, then drop over time to lagering temps.
