Co2 purification

Was wondering if something like this could extend the serving time frame of a keg?

That might catch some oils or volatile compounds, maybe some bacterial if the lines are fouled, but I don't see how the carbon would do anything with O2 contamination.

I don't know about it either. Under specs says filters out impure gases and oils.
