Today the brewery is black beer after a recipe from an old brewery Manual of the brewery and a tangy Pilsner ago.
To mark the 470th anniversary of will since 2004 Ur-Krostitzer Jahresring donated as a prize for committed lay historian, dedicated to the history of the regions of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia deal.
In the brewery are currently 112 employees, produces about 374,000 hectoliters of beer and adds about 2,600 dining places.
