Hop Extract
Does anyone use it for bittering? We have used the single shots before, but would like to possibly buy some in bulk. My main concern would be that it oxidizes very quickly as I believe its packaged in CO2.

Re: Hop Extract
I use hop extract--it's available through Yakima Valley Hops.
I have stored mine in syringes for over a year and have not noticed any degradation in aroma or final bitterness, but YMMV.

Re: Hop Extract
I make my bittering hop extract once per year. Use syringes, and have no issues.

Bryan,
Where are you sourcing your extract? The 100g cans from Yakima are pretty economical but curious if there is a source or if it matters. Also, do you prefer this over pellets for bittering?
