Inline post boil filter
Anyone have an opinion as to whether this would be a huge o2 ingress point for lodo? We currently use a hop spider and adjust utilization down a bit so we don't get a lot of hop debris into our plate chiller or fermenter post-boil.
We were considering adding one of these right on the kettle valve to eliminate the hop spider. It may also serve as a hop rocket if we want to try a hoppy beer with a lodo procedure since a hopstand/30minute steep at 180*F would be a big o2 exposure.

I believe this is similar to what Weizenberg recently purchased.

Speaking of hop spiders.. found this little bone basket, or soup basket, in Singapore. Comes in a bunch of sizes and is great for hops. Just pop them into the basket and toss in the boil. Fish it out with a spoon and add more hops. Just leave it in the kettle when the boil is over. A standard immersion chiller will fit right over it. I imagine any Chinese cooking store would have them.
