Introduction

Postby BoarischaBua » Tue Jan 02, 2018 2:20 pm

Servus beinand (hello everyone),

I just joined the forum and it seems like a cozy community here so I want to briefly introduce myself.

I moved to the UK two years ago (originally I am from South Bavaria) brewing mainly ales. As much as I like them it is hard to nearly impossible to get an authentic and fresh bavarian helles here (i miss them!!!) so I searched the web and found braukaiser and then this web site. And now I am trying to establish some German brewing techniques to "germanise" my ales (sauergut starter is already incubated). My other goal is to brew an authentic pilsener using only techniques that are allowed according to the Reinheitsgebot.

I'm looking forward to exchange some knowledge here.

Cheers

Welcome!

What part of South Bavaria do you call home?

Cool.

When I'm in London I'm either in our flat in Notting Hill or in Richmond. I'm sure we can arrange to meet some day. I'll be back in London end of January.

Try this site. They have loads of Bavarian beers.

Unfortunately, beer is more expensive in the Puritan world ;)

Servus,

sounds good to me. Can I write private messages on this forum as well?
